José Thompson

José’s M&A background includes both origination and execution of buy and sell-side mandates for financial and strategic investors, as well as economic valuations (including purchase price allocation reports), dispute analyses and project finance.

Prior to Kroll, José was a director in the M&A practice of PwC, where he also gathered relevant due diligence experience as a manager in the Transaction Services team. 

José holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (EAESP-FGV) in São Paulo, and an MBA from INSPER (Ibmec) in São Paulo, with a specialization in finance.
 
José is fluent in English, in addition to his native language, Portuguese and he is proficient in German and Spanish.
