At Kroll, Faigie advises clients on the tax aspects of buying and selling businesses and other strategic U.S. domestic and cross-border transactions . She advises a wide range of clients including private equity and venture funds, owner-managed businesses and corporations.
Prior to joining Kroll, Faigie served as Senior Manager at EY’s U.S. Tax Desk in the International Tax Department of the Tel Aviv office. In this role, Faigie focused on providing corporate tax consultation on issues including M&A, deal structuring, post-acquisition integration and tax-efficient operational planning. Faigie began her career in the tax group of the Washington, D.C. based law firm Steptoe & Johnson, where she was part of several tax litigation teams. She also presented to the U.S. Treasury Department and the Internal Revenue Service on multiple occasions to discuss tax law.
Faigie received her Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center and holds an undergraduate degree in psychology with a minor in public policy from Swarthmore College. She is a licensed attorney in New York and a member of the Tax Court bar.
