Steve leverages over 25 years of M&A and corporate finance experience assisting private equity firms, public corporations and private company clients with mergers, acquisitions, sales, divestitures, recapitalizations, leveraged buyouts, debt and equity financings, and strategic alternative reviews.
Steve began his career as an analyst in the Private Placements Group at Libra Investments (Libra Securities), an investment banking firm specializing in middle-market transactions.
Steve focuses on aerospace, defense and industrials M&A and corporate finance mandates. His recent engagements include advising the sale of Magnetic Component Engineering to Dexter Magnetic Technologies; the sale of Citadel Defense, a portfolio company of Lightspeed Venture Partners to BlueHalo; the sale of Busby Metals to Wieland Group; the sale of Birken Manufacturing Company to Enjet Aero; the recapitalization of Innoflight with The Jordan Company; the section 363 asset sale of Impresa Aerospace to Crestview Aerospace; the sale of AIM MRO to AE Industrial Partners; the sale of SEMCO Aerospace to SK AeroSafety Group.
Other transactions include, the acquisition of Avionics Interface Technologies by Teradyne; the sale of Mettis Aerospace, a portfolio company of Saints Chamonix Private Equity, to Stirling Square Capital; the divestiture of HITCO Carbon Composites from SGL Carbon to Avcorp Industries; the sale of Universal Turbine Parts, a portfolio company of Goldner Hawn Johnson & Morrison, to ICV Capital; the sale of SOS Metals Group to Precision Castparts Corp.; the spin-off of L-3 Communications’ government services unit, Engility; and the sale of Semco Instruments to TransDigm Group.
Steve is the former Chairman and President of the Association for Corporate Growth - Los Angeles (ACG LA) and served on the board of directors of the ACG Global. He currently serves on the board of ACG LA and is the Chair of the Tufts University Admissions Network – Los Angeles / Valley Region.
Steve received a B.A. in Political Science and Asian Studies from Tufts University. He is a FINRA Series 7, 24 and 63 registered representative. He is a frequent speaker on topics concerning M&A and financings to attorneys, accountants and board members.
