Simon leads Kroll’s Government and Regulatory Restructuring service offering, which is focused on supporting both central and local government and its departments, regulators and other public sector bodies, where they have an interest in financially distressed or underperforming organizations. These services include stakeholder management, financial investigations and business reviews, options analysis and contingency planning, and execution support. As a licensed insolvency practitioner, Simon has taken numerous insolvency appointments in various sectors.
Prior to joining Kroll, Simon worked at a UK corporate advisory business and at two Big Four accountancy firms.
Simon has also acted as a Lead Advisor on several challenging government issues, including contingency planning for a number of government departments facing distress with suppliers. He also led the financial aspect of the renationalization of LNER and Northern Rail franchises for the Department of Transport.
Simon is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
