Scott leverages over his experience in valuation, assisting clients in valuing a variety of businesses, intangible assets and financial instruments for IPOs, M&A, corporate restructuring and joint venture formation purposes. He has served a diverse group of clients, including multinational corporations, state-owned enterprises, privately held companies and private equity funds.
In his previous roles, Scott has performed intangible asset valuations for purchase price allocation in compliance with the U.S. and international accounting standards. He has also conducted valuations of employee stock options and financial instruments in NYSE or NASDAQ or HKSE listings of Chinese companies.
Scott has provided valuation services to several notable clients in China and Asia Pacific, which include 58.com,Inc.; JD.com Inc.; JD Logistics; JD Health International Inc.; Dada Nexus Limited; Baidu; Cheetah Mobile Inc.; Hello Group Inc.; Tian Ge Interactive Holdings Limited; Qihoo 360 Technology Co.; Youku. Inc.; GDS Holding Ltd.; China Maple Leaf Educational Systems Limited; and Microvast Holdings, Inc.
Scott holds an M.A. in finance and investment from the University of Exeter. He is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).
