Philipp focuses on driving Kroll’s European Technology M&A Advisory practice in Germany, with a concentration on software, digital media, IT services, e-commerce, telecommunications and technology. Philipp’s engagements include advising a listed German technology company on the acquisition of a leading augmented reality (AR) and internet of things (IoT) company; a leading global technology and research company on the divestiture of four global divisions to a publicly listed European competitor; two leading global automotive groups on merging their mobility services (ranging from car sharing, ride hailing, innovative charging and parking solutions to multimodal offerings) in a newly formed joint venture; and a publicly listed telecommunication company on the sale of fiber network and datacenter assets to a global private equity group
Prior to joining Kroll, Philipp gained experience at Solon Management Consulting and also worked in the Corporate Development and Strategy department of Siemens AG.
Philipp holds an M.Sc. in economics (Diplom Volkswirt) from Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich, Germany and HEC Lausanne, Switzerland. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder, and he is a member of the CFA Society Germany as well as of the European Association of Consultants, Valuators and Analyst (EACVA) Germany.
