His responsibilities focus on advising directors, lenders and other stakeholders on turnaround options, including IBRs, cash-flow support, refinancing and fundraising through to AMA and M&A transactions. He is also engaged to provide contingency planning and to take formal insolvency appointments where required in his capacity as a licensed insolvency practitioner.
Jimmy began his career at Kroll and then moved to a startup which, several years later, was acquired by Kroll. Additionally, he completed a secondment in the Business Support team of a UK clearing bank for 15 months and also spent 12 months working overseas managing an international restructuring project.
He has experience across a variety of different sectors, with a focus in retail, FMCG, manufacturing and engineering. Additionally, he has advised several professional services firms on the insolvent and solvent restructuring of a number of high-profile law firms.
Alongside advising small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and associated stakeholders, Jimmy has also led a number of larger, cross-border formal restructuring assignments, including the restructuring, turnaround and successful sale of a global automotive supplier and the strategic review and refinancing of an international airport. Jimmy has also overseen the investigation of various contentious and fraudulent matters.
Jimmy holds an LLB (Honors) Exon from the University of Exeter and is an FCCA-qualified accountant as well as a licensed appointment-taking insolvency practitioner.
