Jan leverages two decades of experience in various finance roles across different industries, advising both private equity and corporate clients on buy-side and sell-side due diligences, M&A projects and other corporate finance projects in Germany and globally.
Prior to joining Kroll in 2022, Jan served as Senior Manager at KPMG. Before that, Jan held various positions at one of the largest German primary insurance groups. He started his career at the healthcare corporation Fresenius, as a trainee and in Group Controlling. Over the course of his career, he has gained extensive national and international project management experience in the health care, insurance and advisory industry. Jan has worked on a broad range of projects including buy-side and sell-side assignments, financial due diligences, vendor assistance, factbook preparation, SPA advice, PMO support, carve-outs, strategic realignments, efficiency improvements, digitization, restructuring and divestment projects as well as regulatory and IFRS standard implementations. Jan leverages extensive experience in managing large-scale international projects and has proven to successfully lead project teams across various geographies.
Jan is a CFA Charterholder and a CAIA Charterholder and holds an MBA degree from Edinburgh Business School. He is also a Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I).
