As part of the Transaction Structuring and Accounting team, India specializes in the application of technical accounting requirements for clients globally. She has practical experience in a number of accounting frameworks, including U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (“GAAP”), IFRS, FRS 102 (UK GAAP), ASPE (Canadian GAAP) and HGB (German GAAP).
India has advised clients on a range of transactions including fresh-start accounting, GAAP conversions, business combinations, revenue recognition, IPO readiness, share-based payments and leasing.
Prior to joining Kroll, India worked in the Banking and Capital Markets Assurance team at EY London. She supported on the audits of several large, listed clients in the UK and internationally, including PCAOB audits for U.S. public companies, with an audit focus on revenue recognition, employee and director remuneration, recognition and measurement of intangible assets, leasing and financial statement disclosures. She has experience in controls testing including SOX controls.
India was a member of the Assurance FinTech team and assisted in building out the offering of FinTech services to banking and capital markets clients.
India holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in economics from the University of Leeds. She is a registered Chartered Accountant (CA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS).
