Francisco Higuera

Francisco Higuera is a director in the Madrid office and part of the Transaction Advisory Services practice. Francisco has more than 25 years of financial experience and has been involved in various transaction advisory, financial due diligence and restructuring projects in sectors including renewable energy, industrial manufacturing, civil works, health care and life sciences, real estate, media & telecom, food and beverage and distribution.

Prior to joining Kroll, Francisco was a member of the Corporate Finance team of Forest Partners, which was acquired by Kroll in February 2019. In this role he was involved in due diligence work and financial restructuring projects. Before that, Francisco worked in the Financial Audit and Deal Advisory – Transaction Services departments at KPMG, where he advised Spanish and foreign clients on corporate transactions including national and cross-border transactions, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), listed companies and private equity deals.

He has also discharged corporate finance management responsibilities in SMEs operating in various industries and markets, taking part in financing and refinancing transactions, arranging deals for the purchase or sale of business units and preparing business plans.

Francisco received a degree in economics and business studies from the University of Murcia. He also holds an executive MBA from the Instituto de Empresa and a UNED post-graduate degree in auditing.
