Prior to joining Kroll, Erika worked as Head of Finance for a UK-based motor insurer and led the finance function, advising non-financial board members on financial reporting requirements and solvency matters. Over the years, Erika gained further experience in a listed financial services Company supporting various Boards of Directors meet regulatory requirements and acted as the main point of contact between the Regulator for managed firms. During her tenure at this firm, Erika gained significant experience of technical accounting matters, corporate governance structures and gained knowledge of the Solvency II Directive.
Erika is a Chartered Accountant from Association Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and she holds a Diploma in Business and Finance from Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). Additionally, Erika is a member of the Gibraltar Society of Accountants and a committee member in the Gibraltar Insurance Institute. She is also Treasurer for various non-profit organizations and more recently co-founded the Gibraltar Women’s Insurance Network.
