Prior to joining Kroll, Dan served as Vice President of Sales at Ventiv Technology (now Riskonnect) for their risk management and claims administration platforms. Before that, he held the title of Vice President of Sales for Gradient AI, an artificial intelligence provider for the insurance industry, analyzing claims risks and expenses. Dan has also held the Vice President of Sales position at both HazardHub (now Guidewire) and CoreLogic.
Dan has worked with one of the top ten insurance carriers on their hazard data analytics project. He advised the clients on their environmental hazard analytics project that resulted in a complete overview and change in their underwriting practices and helped them avoid millions in potential losses. Dan has also worked with one of the top three credit card companies to help them change the way they viewed their transactional clients by advising them to leverage their location intelligence and market directly to their cardholders in real time. This created $10’s of millions of additional annual revenue for the company.
Dan also serves in an advisory capacity to an insurtech startup company offering personal lines property hazard solutions.
Dan has been featured as a thought leader at two trade shows where he has participated in panel discussion on how AI and machine learning are changing the way insurance companies think about underwriting.
Dan received a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Missouri with an emphasis on organizational behavior. He is also involved in North Coast Christian Church in Oceanside, CA providing construction services.
