Aviral is a financial advisory professional with more than 18 years of experience in valuation, corporate finance and restructuring mandates. He has advised clients for transactions involving domestic and cross-border M&A, restructuring of distressed assets, insolvency and bankruptcy, disputes & litigation, and complex valuation issues. He has also held various directorship positions with underlying investments in manufacturing and services sector.
Aviral joined Kroll through the firm’s acquisition of American Appraisal. Prior to Kroll, he worked with the corporate finance practice of KPMG and the financial advisory services practice of Deloitte early in his career. He has been a speaker at several events organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Economic Times, Confederation of Indian Industry, ASSOCHAM and VC Circle. Additionally, he is regularly quoted by the financial press on valuation-related matters being featured in various publications, including many of the leading financial newspapers in India.
Aviral received his Masters in Business Administration in Finance from Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of their chapter in India. He is a member of the Confederation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry’s Stressed Asset Committee as well as a member of the Confederation of Indian Industry’s National Committee on Intellectual Property and National Committee on Regulatory Affairs.
