Ashley has completed numerous expert valuation and other reports quantifying financial loss / damages pursuant to a wide variety of litigation and dispute matters, including shareholder disputes, post acquisition purchase price disputes, dissent and oppression, breach of contract and other contract disputes, SOx disputes, product pricing, product negligence and negligent and fraudulent misrepresentation.
Ashley is a graduate of the University of Waterloo and obtained her Masters of Accounting in 2007. Ashley is also a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA), and Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators (CICBV).
Previously, Ashley worked as an Associate in Mergers & Acquisitions at a Canadian Investment Bank. She was responsible for providing strategic advisory services on mergers, acquisitions, asset divestitures, corporate restructurings, valuations and fairness opinions. Ashley performed strategic reviews for numerous mining clients and identified, evaluated and presented acquisition, divestiture and spin-off ideas while assessing the impact of the proposed transactions on the share price.
Prior to working at a Canadian Investment Bank, Ashley was an Assurance Manager in Energy and Natural Resources at a Global Accounting Firm. Ashley worked on mining clients in both the Toronto and Johannesburg offices.
