As the relevance of ESG investing continues to increase for individual investors, asset managers, corporations, regulators and other stakeholders, so too has the confusion and lack of clarity surrounding the role of ESG in evaluating investment decisions. To help advance the discussion, Kroll has launched its inaugural ESG and Global Investor Returns Study (“ESG Returns Study”). The Kroll ESG Returns Study examines the relationship between historical returns of publicly traded companies and their ESG ratings (as published by MSCI). The study examined a universe of over 13,000 companies across a variety of geographies and industries around the globe. This webinar presents a summary of the findings for four geographic regions (World, North America, Western Europe and Asia Pacific), highlighting some specific countries within these regions. Eleven industries within the World set will also be analyzed. Panelists comment on the results and what they mean from a valuation perspective.
